About Carpet

For many, the comforts of home wouldn’t be complete without a soft, velvety carpet under their feet. Carpeting continues to reign as one of the nation’s favorite flooring surfaces, and it’s really no wonder why. With countless textures, colors, materials, and weaves to choose from, there are carpeting options to satisfy any style and need.

At Carpet One Floor & Home in Farmington we’re passionate about fine carpeting and its amazing ability to comfort and transform. Are you thinking about new carpeting for your business or residence?

Types of Carpet

Frieze carpeting is fuzzy, soft, and boasts comfortable and casual appearance, thanks to its long and uneven fibers.

Loop carpeting boasts a lower profile, manufactured out of smaller fibers that are woven into loops. This type of carpeting works in a variety of spaces.

Textured carpeting is durable and has a low profile and rougher feel, woven out of uneven fibers.

Why Carpeting?

The advantages to carpets are many. Easy to install and relatively affordable, carpeting also has the ability to immediately transform every space it touches. Carpeting is also an extremely effective insulation as it both assists with climate control, and cushions against noise, while protecting privacy.
